Bing Site Verification and Analytics (Microsoft Clarity)

How to verify your site with Bing:

Visit https://www.bing.com/webmasters/about 

On the top right,  click "Sign In".

After you login, you will see a form that asks you to add your site manually.

Note: If you have added another site in the past, Bing Webmaster Tools may log you in automatically to that site's "project". To add a new site, go to the top left of your screen, click the "down arrow" icon and select "Add a site."

A form like this will appear:

Enter the URL of your site. Examples:

https://your-site.com

https://domain.com/blog

Click "Add".

When Bing asks you to choose a verification method, select HTML Meta Tag.

Click "Copy" to copy the verification code.

Login to the dashboard of your site and go to:

Extra Options > Head and Footer Code

Paste the code in the HEAD Code text area. IF you see a red sign indicating there may be an error, ignore it. :-)

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes".

Go back to Bing Webmaster tools and click "Verify".

Done!

Adding Bing Analytics (Microsoft Clarity) to your site

Visit https://clarity.microsoft.com/ 

On the top right, click Sign In.

Complete the sign-in process.

Click New project.

You'll see a form like this:

Enter your site's name, URL and industry.

Click Add new project.

Select Install manually > Get Tracking Code

Click "Copy to clipboard".

Login to the dashboard of your site.

Go to: Extra Options > Head and Footer Code

Paste the code in the HEAD Code text area. If you already have code there, paste the new code below the existing code. If you see a red sign indicating there may be an error, just ignore it. :-)

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes".

Done!

Troubleshooting: You added the necessary code but Bing doesn't verify your site? Please clear your site's cache and try again. :-)
